Description Of The Zimbabwe Hunting Areas

Plum Tree:

Main species: Leopard, Sable, plains game

This area is in the south-western part of Zimbabwe near the border with Zimbabwe - Sable and plains game are abundant in this area along with great leopard that produce fantastic quality trophies. The camp is stone under thatch on the banks of a large dam that holds Bream and Bass.

Deka:

Main species: Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, plains game

This fantastic area is on the boundary of the Hwange National Park and the Deka river - regularly producing large Ivory bulls 50 lbs plus. Buffalo are abundant with only solid boss bulls being taken. The area hosts a good population of bushbuck, kudu, waterbuck etc. Leopard in this area are good hunting but do not usually produce the heavy bodied cats of the south-west.

Binga:

Main species: Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Hippo, Crocodile

This area is on the banks of the Zambezi river and has some 40 km of river frontage. Elephant in this area are abundant and usually run ivory from 30 lbs - 45 lbs. The river sustains immense populations of both hippo and crocodile with great trophies being taken yearly. Unfortunately due to the proximity with Zambia, poaching has become a problem with plains game baring the brunt of the poaching operations; we have implemented new measures to try and bring back the PG to this fantastic area. In this area we offer extensions for fishing and cruising aboard a luxury fully appointed houseboat at an extra cost.
